Transfer of Equity fees

Our legal fees and expenses for a Transfer of Equity are:

£275.00 (plus VAT and expenses) if no mortgage to be redeemed
£295.00 (plus VAT and expenses) if mortgage is to be redeemed


Land Registry search £3.00 + VAT
Bankruptcy search £2.00 + VAT per person
Telegraphic transfer fee £30.00 + VAT (each)
Land Registry document £3.00 + VAT per document

The precise stages involved in the transfer of a property vary according to the circumstances. If you are staying with the same lender and only removing one party from the legal title, we will require the lenders consent. The party being removed from the title should take independent legal advice. We will provide a transfer document to reflect your instructions. This will then be submitted to the Land RegistryTake your instructions and give you initial advice
If however you are moving lender then we will deal with your new lender and report to you on the mortgage, send mortgage deed to you for signature, provide you with a completion statement showing financial aspect of the transaction, deal with post completion matters and provide you with updated legal title at completion
